Bacillus strains used by Organic Pond, LLC for aquaculture pond
treatments were tested for their ability to inhibit the growth of multiple
aquaculture pathogens under laboratory conditions.

Each of the 4 Bacillus strains were observed to produce metabolites that inhibited the growth of pathogenic bacterial or oomycete pathogens.

The antibiosis pattern observed was different for each of the 4 Bacillus strains, which suggests that they each produce a unique metabolite(s) with activity against aquaculture pathogens.
